Dry Stone Bridge

Reid Snow, a member of the DSGC, is in the process of completing a dry stone bridge. It has a span of 8' and is 7 " wide. This bridge is being built solely by him and is most likely the only bridge in Canada, of this size, to be built by one person. There is approximately 20 tons of stone in the construction so far and will probably end at just over that mark. More pictures to follow in the coming weeks.

The 2011 Canada Blooms show is under way.

The DSGC is working in conjunction with Landscape Ontario and has built this 8' high by 5' in diameter dry stone water feature. The limestone used in the Stone Vase weighs in at approximately 7 tons and has water running down a chain that disappears into the feature.
We would just like to thank everyone who helped in the building of the feature.
