Dry Stone Walling 101

You can see here some of the remaining students that helped build this limestone wall in Balderson On. The students battled through 2 days of rain and wind, learning the basics of dry stone walling. Taught by Master Craftsman Michael Weitzner from Brattlebro Vermont. The students during this course learned about the importance of a solid foundation, through-stones, cheekends, cover-bands, and verticle coping. A wall the students can be proud of.
